WHAT IS A CFP® - CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER

Most people think all financial advisors are the same, but this isn’t true. CFP® certification is the most renowned designation to financial advisors worldwide which represents the highest level of competency, ethics, and professionalism globally. Only a small percentage of advisers who have fulfilled the certification and annual renewal requirements of education, experience, and compliance can display the CFP® certification trademarks. WHY SHOULD I PAY A FINANCIAL ADVISOR? WHY CANT DO IT MYSELF?

There are indeed many great tools out there that can help you handle your insurance, investment, and superannuation yourself. Many areas might have their own separate isolated answers, but how do we connect all the pieces of your financial life together to provide options and perspectives on each of those decisions?

There may be other issues in Taxes, cash flow, estate planning, and so much more, not to mention, more importantly, priority setting and having a clear vision of the future…

There is a lot to know and to keep organized and on track. And it does take a lot of time and effort, and the cost of making a mistake is high. What we’ve also found is that many people have a tough time implementing their plan consistently.

Therefore, we are here to listen, understand, advise, and implement so you can have less stress and more control for a better retirement!

I WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO YOU. HOW DO I START?

That’s great news! I invite you to Book A 15-Minute Call now. You can also email me on yun@sunfg.com.au or call me on 04 0301 6508.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE 15-MINUTE CALL?

During the first call, we’ve found that a lot can happen. While we know we might not be right for everyone with respect to an ongoing advisory relationship, we’ve always believed it’s good to share our experience and observations about your situation in this initial discussion.

Our goal in this first phone call is to learn more about what is on your mind that led you to us, about you and your family and your priorities, and finally to determine if we might be a good fit for the long-term relationship. Whether you become a client or not, we’re confident you will find it beneficial!

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

There are two types of fees:

1.Initial Advice Preparation Fee:

If you decide to work with us, we will prepare an SOA (Statement of Advice) that will formally document our advice to you after thorough research, analysis, and comparison. It will include the understanding of your current personal circumstances and financial goals, recommended strategies to achieve your goals and details of any financial products we recommend.

Normally, the cost is between $2,200 and $8,800 depending on the complexity of the recommendations and time and effort we use. The cost for preparing the SOA will be billed to you or maybe deducted from the balance of your investment or Superannuation. If you decide not to proceed with the recommendations, you will still be expected to pay for the preparation of the SOA.

2. Ongoing Service Fee:

The only thing that doesn’t change in life is change, we provide ongoing advice and support to help you stay on track with an ongoing services fee, the services may include but not limited to:

• normally two reviews in June for regulatory/tax planning and November for portfolio planning

• report and analysis of your investment portfolio. Superannuation portfolio and/or insurance policies

• phone or email access to us anytime

• newsletters and updates on regulation

The fee is normally between $2,200 and $8,800 annually based on the complexity of the recommendations and the amount of work required.

WHAT IS YOUR INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY?

We believe in a simple but disciplined approach to managing investments. It is vitally important to us that our clients should understand their investments, and the process we use to select and manage your portfolio should be consistent. Accordingly, we have made the Four-Step approach in our investment management process including – Goals-Based Risk Assessment, Strategic Asset Allocation, and Investment Manager Selection and Rebalancing. Most importantly, we do not try to time the market and help you avoid costly behavioral investment mistakes!
